The Gist: Vero Beach Oktoberfest is expanding to a full 3-day festival from Oct. 16-18 at the Indian River County Fairgrounds. Presented by Neese Roofing, the event features a 15,000-square-foot beer garden tent, 4 Florida polka bands, German food, and around 125 local vendor booths. Admission is $8, kids under 13 get in free.
